You can enjoy real job satisfaction and gain the skills to teach students successfully. As a Tutor, your aim is to create a fun, positive and welcoming atmosphere for learners.

Job Description

  • Ensure the teaching and learning environment is fit for purpose

  • Ensure compliance of Apollo Tuition Centre curriculum and drive improvements where necessary

  • Track and review students’ progress and attendance

  • Support students, review their work

  • Liaise in matters with parents, teacher and students

  • Encourage students to be positive

  • Review and monitor reports to parents and develop a good relationship

Desired Experience

  • Ability to work with children

  • Some teaching experience is beneficial

  • Highly motivated with a bright enthusiastic personality

  • Should have ability to teach and facilitate sessions, adapting to students individual strengths and weaknesses, taking into account specific needs

  • Establish effective, positive relationships with parents, teaching colleagues and staff

  • Be able to use own initiative in situations, giving students some control over their own learning
